Mike Molton - Director of Agronomy
Mike Molton leads the agronomy team at PPCC. His goal is to produce consistent course conditions that maximize playability while keeping a focus on the details that make PPCC unique. Mike spent the last 4 years as the Golf Course Superintendent at Alta Mesa Golf Club, a private equity club in Mesa AZ. Prior to that, Mike spent 11 years as the Regional Director of Agronomy for Scottsdale Golf Group's Scottsdale and northern AZ properties. Mike's turfgrass origins began in Augusta, GA at the Augusta Country Club and working several Masters Tournaments at the Augusta National Golf Club. He brings a passion for golf and its rich history to PPCC. Mike earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Turfgrass Science from Clemson University. He lives with his wife Tessa and his 6 children in Mesa, AZ.

Alex Richards - Senior Assistant Superintendent
Hi, my name is Alex Richards. I have been in the turf industry for 11 years now with the drive and intention of becoming a golf course superintendent. I started my turf career right after graduating from high school in San Antonio, Texas, where I spent 4 years at Hyatt Hill Country Club and Resort learning the basics of course maintenance. I moved out to Phoenix, Arizona in September of 2016 working out of TPC Scottsdale as an operator level 2. I had the pleasure of mowing back 9 tees for the 2017 WMO. I have since then been in a few different courses learning and growing in my turf career. I have my Turfgrass Management Certificate from the University of Georgia.
